Stepping It Out Program

The Stepping It Out Program aims to encourage women of all ages and cultures who are currently not involved in any regular physical activity to engage in walking for fitness.

The program has developed a number of facilitator-led walks throughout the northern suburbs as well as workshops and seminars to provide awareness and education about women’s health and wellbeing.

Volunteer Walk Leaders

Being active every day is not difficult and there are many benefits. Engaging in moderate physical activity reduces your risk of major diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and it helps to control your blood pressure, cholesterol and weight. It will also make you feel good, both physically and mentally!

Walking is a great way to be active with no cost and no equipment required!

For further information on the program and walk groups in your area,
contact 9300 1566 or by email info@womenshealthworks.org.au

The walks vary in length, cater to all levels of fitness and are FREE!  Stay for a coffee and a chat after the walk.

New members are always welcome!
