SARC offers an outreach counselling service at WOMEN’S Healthworks on Mondays.

For an appointment contact SARC on 9340 1820 during business hours 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Private Psychologists

Pam O’Connor, Psychologist (Private Services)

Pam works for WOMEN’S Healthworks on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. She is available for private clients at other times.

Pam is an experienced and mature Registered Psychologist.  Women’s issues are her particular interest in addition to stress, anxiety and depression, fears and phobias, self esteem and identity difficulties.  Pam uses a combination of cognitive behavioural strategies (CBT) interpersonal therapy and hypnosis if suitable. Medicare and some health funds rebates are available. Private fees apply.

Gwen Brooks, Private Psychologist

Gwen is Registered Psychologist who works at WOMEN'S Healthworks in a private capacity on a part time basis.

She can provide services which are rebatable for eligible clients who have been referred by a GP under the Medicare Mental Health Care Plan.

Gwen has estensive experience in counselling individuals and couples and is well known for her informal and supportive client centred approach to her work.  At the first session, a plan for the number of treatment sessions is discussed with the client. 

Gwen can be contacted Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 5.00pm on 0414 442 186 or 9206 3432 for further information or to make an appointment.  Gwen charges $100 for individuals and $120 for couples, with Medicare and health fund rebates.
