Our Objectives
- To operate, maintain and administer a community health service in Perth's northern corridor, by women for women of all ages.
- To continually evaluate our work ensuring best possible practice in all of our service delivery within our resource capacity.
- To develop and establish socially inclusive, professional, effective, and compassionate integrated health services fo all women; targeting those who are marginalised, disadvantaged and vulnerable.
- To operate within a feminist framework.
- To promote preventative and integrated health services to providers and consumers through education, information, and programs and to act as a resource and referral centre to the community.
- To provide counselling services as opportunities for women to enhance/increase their psychological and emotional health and wellbeing.
- To provide health education, promotion and community development activities that assist women achieve optimal health and wellbeing.
- To provide medial services for women that offer a gender-specific approach to sexual, reproductive, emotional and mental health and wellbeing
- To advocate and raise awareness at all levels of government and the community, of the health needs and circumstances of women in the northern corridor of Perth.
- To participate in women's health networks and other relevant forums; to monitor social and political policies; and initiate, support and undertake action which furthers our objectives whilst remaining politically non-aligned.
- To raise funds in order to further our objectives.
